I fear pain, death, and slavery
Yet, You tell me I’m free
The chains of death no longer hold me
In my moments of fear
I listen to the father of lies
Telling me I’m an orphan
Abandoned, chained, fallen
Then You rush in with
Your breath of truth and light
Showing me I am free
If it were up to me
I’d be back in the grave
Yet, You have taken the penalty
It is done, finished
Breaking the power of death
Jesus, You have won the victory
